  Празник Світлого Христового Воскресіння є головною подією року для християн, це празник над празниками, символом здійснення обітниці Господньої – Христос Воскрес, а разом з ним і весь грішний люд отримав дар вічного життя. В цей день ми святкуємо перемогу над дияволом, відкуплення від смерті і перехід до вічного блаженства разом із Спасителем.Основний зміст християнства полягає саме у Христовому Воскресінні, без якого нема ніякого змісту в християнстві. Тож цей Світлий празник є головною ідеєю, що проходить крізь численні події Святого Письма, це прообраз і нашого „воскресіння во Христі”, але важливо, що шлях цей лежить через добровільну жерву Спасителя.В цей день Церква закликає вірних зустріти Христа, прийняти його у своєму серці, просвітитися Його світлом і ясно почути від Нього: „Радуйтесь!”.Світло Христової слави осяяло праведникам шлях до неба, поєднало небо і землю у новій, вселенській Літургії, причащаючи вірних небесної слави і вічного життя. Вітаю усіх вас, мої дорогі, зі святом Святої Пасхи. Нехай свято Воскресіння Христового принесе в наші серця радість, якої у нас ніхто не відніме, тому що  Воскрес Христос!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the center of the Christian faith.On the Great and Holy Feast of Pascha, Orthodox Christians celebrate the life-giving Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This feast of feasts is the most significant day in the life of the Church. It is a celebration of the defeat of death, as neither death itself nor the power of the grave could hold our Savior captive. In this victory that came through the Cross, Christ broke the bondage of sin, and through faith offers us restoration, transformation, and eternal life.Pascha is the dawn of the new and unending day. The Resurrection constitutes the most radical and decisive deliverance of humankind.The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the fundamental truth and absolute fact of the Christian faith.We will be joyful and thank God, Who so loved us that He gave His Only-begotten Son for our salvation and eternal life.Christ rose from the dead, descended to hades, into the abyss of sin, and by His entrance there once and for all destroyed death, filling all with the wondrous light of eternal life.In congratulating all of you on the great feast of Holy Pascha, I prayerfully wish for you generous spiritual gifts, physical strength and the gracious aid which is from above in the triumphant journeying with Christ.
