NATIVITY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

CHRIST IS BORN ! Christ from heaven, go out to meet Him. Christ on earth; be exalted. Sing unto the Lord all the whole earth; and that I may join both in one word, Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, for Him Who is. of heaven and then of earth. Christ in the flesh, rejoice with trembling and with joy.Let us remember that this is the season when the Church hymns out tidings of great joy announcing that Christ is born!

“Christ is born; glorify Him!

Christ comes from heaven; go to meet Him!

Christ is on earth; be exalted!

Sing to the Lord, all the earth!

And praise Him in gladness, O people, for He has been glorified!”

The star that shone over Bethlehem on the eve of the Saviour’s birth to light the way for the Wise Men of the East still shines as an eternal beacon in the hearts of all those who have Jesus Christ in their hearts. Lets celebrate the joy of the Nativity and extend our love to one another praying that the newborn Child blesses each of us.May the peace, love and joy of our Lord’s birth shine brightly in your hearts through out the coming year.

              РІЗДВО ГОСПОДА НАШОГО І СПАСА ІСУСА ХРИСТА

       Христос Рождається! Різдво Христове — велике християнське свято, день Народження Ісуса Христа, Спасителя світу і Відкупителя людей з полону гріха. Ісус Христос приходить на світ у Вифлеємі.Приходить на світ серед пастирів і овець, бо сам є “добрим пастирем”,приходить на світ в убогості, щоб кожний приходив до нього з довірою.Він прийшов, щоб прославити Бога, а людям дати мир на землі , мир з Богом, мир зі самим собою , мир з ближніми. Із приходом Спасителя на землю світ наповнився великою радістю, і це звістив ангел після народження Ісуса Христа:   “… звіщаю вам велику радість, що буде радістю всього народу”.Боже Дитя приходить в окреслений Господньою волею історичний час,від цього часу Боже стало людським, а вічне – земним. Бог став людиною з усіма її властивостями, крім гріха. Щоб явитися людям, Бог обирає неначе людську дорогу. Щоб стати правдивою людиною, народжується Дитиною від земної матері, але ця мати – Дівиця, бо земного батька тут не потрібно. Народжена Дитинка – небесна, свята, Божий Син. Народження це було особливе. Свідками народження були ангели й інші небесні сили, але були повідомлені й люди. Першими прийшли поклонитися Господу прості люди, пастухи.Більш як 2017 років Вифлеємська зоря привела мудреців зі Сходу поклонитися новонародженому Спасителеві, і сьогодні ця зоря привела всіх нас дорогою до храмів Божих, щоб поклонитися Тому, який Сам є “дорогою, правдою і життям”. І світло Вифлеємської зорі ніколи не зникало і не зникне зі шляху нашого Боголюбивого народу, бо з нами Бог , який сьогодні народжується у Вифлеємі Юдейському. Сердечно вітаємо всіх вас- наших парафіян ,всіх  возлюбленних в Христі братів і сестер в США  і в Україні з великим святом Різдва Господа і Спаса нашого Ісуса Христа і молимо, щоб благословення новонародженого Христа Спасителя перебувало над всіма вами завжди і повсякчас, і на віки вічні.

   Дорогі браття і сестри! В ці святкові дні хочу привітати всіх вас з Воскресінням Христовим.Христос воскрес із мертвих, і Його Гріб від цієї миті став джерелом життя.З Воскресінням Христовим воскресла на землі свята істина й посоромилася всяка неправда. Воскрес Христос — і поклав початок новому життю і новій людині. Воскресіння Христове є настільки важливою подією, що святий апостол Павел вказує на неї, як на критерій істинності всього християнського учення: “А якщо Христос не воскрес, то й проповідь наша марна, марна і віра наша” (1 Кор. 15: 14).  Ісус Христос був розп’ятий як Людина, а воскрес як Бог. Він наш Спаситель, був розп’ятий за наші гріхи, а воскрес для нашого виправдання і спасіння.Своїм воскресінням із мертвих Христос беззастережно показав, що Він є Бог, істинний Син Божий. Як Всемогутній Він воскрес із мертвих і як Богочоловік переміг смерть, відкривши всякій людині дорогу до воскресіння, до вічного життя. Він переміг смерть і підніс життя кожної людини до божественної висоти. У це світле свято Христа Воскреслого, у день, який приніс спасіння світові, коли зійшло осяйне Сонце Правди і все довкола сповнилося радістю і веселощами, “в цей день, який створив Господь”, переможно проголосимо: “Христос Воскрес! Воістину Воскрес!”. Будемо радіти з усім світом, видимим і невидимим, “Христос бо повстав — радість вічна!”Від душі вітаю усіх вас, мої дорогі, зі святом Святої Пасхи. Благословення воістину Воскреслого Господа нехай супроводжують кожного з нас у наших подальших трудах на славу Церкви, на користь держави де ми живемо і нашій Богом береженій Україні, на благо ближніх і всіх потребуючих.Нехай свято Воскресіння Христового принесе в наші серця радість, якої у нас ніхто не відніме, тому що Воістину Воскрес Христос!

 Dear brothers and sisters! Greet you from the depth of my heart with the Great and Sacred Holy Day of Pascha! From year to year the good news of the Resurrection resounds victoriously, encouraging us to render praise to God and the Saviour, who has trampled down death by death and has made us co-participants in the life eternal which is to come.On the radiant day of Christ’s resurrection the souls of millions of the faithful are replete with thanksgiving to the Creator, and our earthly life acquires true meaning. Christ’s Passover is the greatest triumph of life, the triumph over death bringing love, peace and spiritual transformation.In celebrating Pascha we each time open up a new period in our lives, for the risen Lord renews human nature, fortifies us in tribulations, and grants to us the strength to accomplish good deeds.During the coming Pascal Divine Services let our souls, our hearts and all our lives be again filled with the bread of our salvation and of the eternal life- Jesus Christ Himself! Let our minds be enlightened with the everlasting light of the Christ’s Resurrection!In congratulating all of you on the great feast of Holy Pascha, I prayerfully wish for you generous spiritual gifts, physical strength and the gracious aid which is from above in the triumphant journeying with Christ.May the Divine Grace and the abundant Mercy of the Lord be with you all,  so that you may receive, through the evangelical ethos, the Gift of the Feast of feasts and the Celebration of celebrations—the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, to Whom all glory, dominion, honor, and thanksgiving now and to the endless ages.
